I take all my photos and videos with an iPhone. No filters, no 'fixing'. What you see is what the camera saw that day.
Of course, it is okay if people like to add filters or to change their photos to suit their personal style, but I like to look at nature the way it is.
Real life on this island is not always beautiful. We have rainy days, cloudy days, and in winter and spring the sky is a light blue. I want to accept life as I find it - nature has many colors and some of the colors are gloomy.
I also like to buy vegetables from a farmer's market and I don't care if the cucumbers are not straight, or if the mangoes have a mark on them. Typhoons often damage mangoes and the farmers must sell a perfectly delicious mango at a very cheap price because of the mark on the skin. It is such a pity.
Nowadays we can find 'perfect' things everywhere but that doesn't mean we should ignore 'imperfect' things. And it is okay if our lives are not 'perfect'. Happiness has many sides - perfection is just one aspect.

This photo was taken from the same place as the photo above. A rainy day is also beautiful.
